Hewlett High School
Lauren was always very proud of her school and community. Aside from excelling academically, she also was a member of the Tennis team, Cheerleading Squad, and various clubs. Her participation in activities, such as Hewlett High School’s Sports Night, exemplified her school spirit and vibrant personality. She was an Advance Placement student while also making the Honor Roll. She was successful at everything she put her mind to. Throughout her high school years, Lauren befriended many different groups of friends from all different walks of life. She was accepting of every individual for who they were. Every year a scholarship in Lauren’s name of $1,000 will be awarded to a high achieving senior who plans on majoring in psychology (which was Lauren’s major at the University of Florida), and is active in community service.
